Old Chinese Shophouses

This row of old shophouses in the Peunayong Chinese quarter is still original and functions as dwellings and shops of the Chinese in Banda Aceh. It is located along the main commercial area by the Kreung Aceh River, the main river which divides the town. Some of the shophouses survived the natural disaster.
