house museum. The authentic Straits Chinese interior, with an
internal courtyard garden, an original tok panjang (banquet table)
and a wood-stove kitchen, serves as a wonderful setting for Bibik
Hitam.

OBJECTIVES
To promote veteran performing arts teacher Cikgu Bahroodin
To generate greater interest in Baba Nyonya heritage and local
culture
To support the running of the house museum at 120 Armenian Street
To publicise revitalisation efforts in Armenian Street
To attract new audiences to a deeper appreciation of heritage
by using dramatic and comic elements.
TICKETS
& CAPACITY
RM 20 will be charged for admission and show. Due to limited space
and the nature of the performance, a maximum of 20 persons will
be allowed for each show.
TRIAL
PERFORMANCE
A brief trial performance was held during the visit of the New
York-based Asia Society to Penang on 6 April 2006. This show met
